Today I sailed at RWS and had the best sail I've had this side of Xmas! I was perfectly powered up on my 5.8 and blasting like a lunatic from 11:30 onwards!

It was fantastic to have such a great sail, after a pretty mediocre day Saturday(which to be fair was 'cos I was too lazy to change sails for a third time - should have been on the 4.7!). But today I didn't fluff a single waterstart, and was really comfortale blasting at full tilt in the straps. It was so great to have a day when I could just sail and enjoy it without fighting the conditions. I badly needed that sail - I was starting to feel like I'd regressed to being a beginner again since getting my new board! But on Sunday, it showed it's true colours finally. I even managed to make a dry gybe, and was so suprised to have got round and carried on going that I almost fell off with the shock of it!

Amyway, two days sailing in the warm sun really can't be bad for a weekend in April! That's given me something to see me through the coming windless spell...
